Kane is certainly one of the most respected and loved Superstars in the company. He has competed in numerous matches in his career and was part of several memorable moments. The WWE Hall of Famer recently discussed how his political views conflicted with those of his tag team partner Bryan Danielson.
Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, presently serves as Knox County’s mayor and has done so since 2018. His libertarian political stances, notably those regarding masks and vaccinations during the COVID-19 pandemic, have drawn criticism from some.
Kane discussed how his right-wing political ideas clashed with Bryan’s more liberal ones in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated. He also admitted that working with Bryan was the most fun he had in his entire professional wrestling career.
Bryan and I are on such opposite ends of the political spectrum. But we respect each other as human beings and value each other’s opinions, so we had conversations and learned from each other. I learned a lot from Bryan, even if we didn’t always agree.
Working with Bryan was probably the most fun I had in my entire wrestling career; that was because I was working with Daniel Bryan.
Bryan Danielson is also likely to feud with MJF for the AEW World Championship in the future. We will have to wait and see how AEW will be booking their feud in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on Ringside News for more.
