Asuka is one of the most respected members of Monday Night RAW’s women’s division. The Empress of Tomorrow was also one of the best things about the women’s division on RAW throughout the pandemic, but she had a tremendous career in Japan prior to her WWE jump as well. After what transpired on RAW this week, it seems Asuka hinted at going back to her old gimmick.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Asuka competed in a triple threat match involving Bayley and Rhea Ripley. Despite her best efforts, Asuka was unable to win the match.
That loss might have changed something in The Empress Of Tomorrow. Asuka took to Twitter and wrote a few posts where she was frustrated with her status in WWE. She also uploaded a few photos of her time in Japan, where she was known as Kana. She also included a serious caption for one of her photos.
I don’t want respect. I have never wanted to be respected. I don’t care about that. I’m going to listen to the new Metallica song and go to bed.
We will have to wait and see whether Asuka will end up going back to her old gimmick as Kana or not. After all, she was a very fierce competitor during her days in Japan and fans would love to see that happen in WWE.
