WWE launched various programs over the years, and Next in Line is one of them. The NIL program recruits top athletes who aspire to become the next big WWE Superstars. WWE has already offered a development deal to one of their prospects already.

The company previously held tryouts during WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam this year. WWE most recently held a two-day tryout at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, as part of the company’s Campus Rush tour.

30 athletes participated and only 1 person so far has been offered a deal. According to ABC Action News, WWE offered a developmental deal to Melanie Brzezenski, who attended the two-day tryout. She is a bodybuilder, and she attended the University of Tampa as well.

“I got a personal trainer back in July, and I said to him that I have one goal and one goal only. That is to get into the WWE… I was like, I’m ready. I want to do this. I want to be on the camera, and I want to be a star.”

It was noted that Brzezenski selected “Rosie Ray” as a potential on-screen name, and she had applied six times to qualify for the tryout. WWE signed various collegiate athletes as it helps them create a new generation of superstars. Now it remains to be seen whether Melanie Brzezenski will find success in the company as well or not.
