Vince McMahon revolutionized the pro wrestling business with his aggressive but effective expansionist philosophy during the eighties and nineties. With all the success came controversy as well, and the billionaire wrestling promoter faced a lot of controversy during his time as the be-all, end-all of WWE.

Vince McMahon’s name was mentioned during NXT this week. This came as a huge surprise to the wrestling world because this was the first time Vince’s name came up since the 77-year-old stepped down from his role as the head booker and Chief Executive Officer of WWE.
