Kenta had a forgettable stint in WWE, where he used to wrestle under the ring name Hideo Itami. The former GHC Heavyweight Champion joined New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2019 and the rest was history.

Kenta recently took a shot at CM Punk once again. The 41-year-old wrestle Mike Bailey at a REVOLVER show in Iowa. Lil’K hit the Speedball with a GTS during the match as well. For those not in the know, Kenta is the innovator of the deadly move, as well as the Busaiku Knee Kick.

Kenta cut a promo in Japanese backstage after the match and namedropped CM Punk. The GTS specialist thrashed the former AEW World Champion, saying Go to Sleep is “my move.”
