Interesting Fact About Matt Riddle & Elias’ Tag Team

Matt Riddle and Elias were supposed to team together and challenge The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship last night on RAW. However, Elias was attacked by The Bloodline before the show started, taking him out of the match.

Matt Riddle was able to find another replacement in Kevin Owens. Although Riddle and Owens put on a valiant effort, The Usos still managed to retain their Tag Team Titles. A couple of interesting statistics has emerged regarding last night’s episode of RAW.

Fightful Select has noted that Matt Riddle and Elias have more matches canceled or delayed than they’ve teamed together. It was also mentioned that last night’s episode of RAW had 72 minutes of in-ring action.

“Elias and Riddle now have more matches canceled or delayed than they’ve actually teamed together.

There was over 72 minutes of in-ring action on Monday’s WWE Raw.”

Matt Riddle and Elias made a pretty compelling tag team which is why it’s sad that ended before it even started. It will be interesting to see if they resume this tag team after Riddle returns from his injury.
