WWE Monday RAW is set emanate from the nation’s capital of Washington D.C for the December 5 episode. A highly anticipated title match and a major tournament hosted by a WWE Hall of Famer has already been announced for the show. Now, Byron Saxton revealed breaking news regarding two high stakes triple threat matches set to take place for tonight’s edition of RAW.
WWE’s flagship show had some interesting programs coming out of WWE Survivor Series: War Games last week. It was announced that Elias and Matt Riddle would challenge The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles and WWE legend JBL will be returning to the red side to host a high-stakes invitational poker tournament.
WWE commentator Byron Saxton announced just hours before the show that two massive triple threat matches have been added to tonight’s RAW match card. The first match will see Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss vs Nikki Cross and the second bout will feature Rhea Ripley, Asuka and Bayley pitted against each other with massive stakes involved. Saxton broke the news on Twitter.
“Two…Two.. Two triple threat matches.. massive stakes. The first match will see Becky Lynch against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross while the second one will see Bayley taking on Rhea Ripley and Asuka. Now, the winners of those two triple threat matches will face off next week with the winner of that match earning a future opportunity at the RAW Women’s championship.”
The winner of both triple threat matches will battle against each other on next week’s Monday Night RAW, with a future RAW Women’s title opportunity hanging in the balance. Catch all the action on tonight’s episode of RAW live from Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
