Top Dolla made his NXT debut in 2021 aligning himself with Hit Row. The group quickly became popular on NXT. Hit Row is known for spitting rhymes during segments. Even though their leader Swerve Scott is no longer with the company, their gimmick hasn’t changed since they returned to the WWE main roster after a short hiatus due to being released.
Hit Row isn’t the only act in professional wrestling that are capable of rapping. Back in the day, John Cena was known to do rap battles all the time. It became part of his gimmick. He would almost always rap on his way to the ring and before matches.
In AEW, Max Caster also does the same thing, so much so that people always compare him to John Cena because of his look and his insane rapping skills. That skill on the microphone makes The Acclaimed’s entrances incredibly popular. However, one question remains – who has the better rap skills?
Ringside News recently asked fans on Twitter who they thought had the better flow between John Cena and Max Caster. WWE Superstar Top Dollar replied to Ringside News’ meme by suggesting he was the one with the better flow.
“🔝💵,” tweeted Top Dolla. This was a clear indication of how Top Dolla feels he stacks up.
Top Dolla’s last match was on the November 25th episode of SmackDown where he and Ashante “Thee” Adonis lost to Erik and Ivar. On the other hand, Max Caster is enjoying a successful run as one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions.
