The nWo is widely regarded as one of the greatest factions in the history of the wrestling business. The group consisting of Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall dominated WCW during their tenure with the promotion.

To this day, wrestling fans who are also new to WWE have heard of the nWo in some capacity. Their merchandise is a hot commodity even in the modern wrestling era. Hence, it should come as no surprise that the nWo still makes plenty of money off its trademark.

During a recent episode of Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash discussed the importance of the nWo trademark even stating that he would pick the group’s trademark over his own individual trademark if given the choice.

“[WWE] owned the nWo. So we got a percentage of that from the WWE. The faction makes way more money than “Kevin Nash” does. The nWo was the homerun. If I could pick owning either the nWo trademark solely 100%, or owning “Kevin Nash” in the realm of wrestling? I’ll take the nWo,” said Kevin Nash.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the nWo trademark makes more money than the Kevin Nash trademark considering people still talk about the nWo to this day. The only other faction in modern wrestling history that came close to the nWo is The Bloodline. However, we will have to wait and see if The Bloodline’s legacy surpasses the nWo’s legacy.
