Kevin Nash is no stranger to having a good time. Although being one of the top guys in WCW, Kevin Nash has been pretty open about his use of weed. Even recently, he opened up about how he felt about WWE’s wellness policy and also how he got baked with Chris Master at a signing.
During a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash compared his first run with the company between 1993 and 1996 with his second run in 2002 citing that he was allowed to smoke in his first run while he could not in his second run. Obviously, WWE’s marijuana policy changed.
“The first three years we could smoke. The three years after that we couldn’t smoke. WWE had the ‘no steroid, no marijuana’ policy,” said Kevin Nash
WWE famously had a “weed tax” of $2,500 for anyone who popped dirty for THC on their wellness policy exams. In recent memory, we’ve heard that those fines are now a thing of the past.
During the same episode, Kevin Nash recalled a story of how Chris Masters turned an apple into a pipe and they both baked during a signing in Jersey.
“One of my favorite people to hang out with on the road that I never got a chance to do much with is Chris Masters. The Masterpiece. We were at a signing somewhere in Jersey. He made a pipe out of an apple and he and I got whacked! We ended up in Lookers drinking Coronas. It was a good signing, a couple of hours. We went up the room and got baked.”
Kevin Nash was released from the company in 2003. After a long stint in TNA, Kevin Nash would return to WWE in 2011 and be involved in a storyline with CM Punk. His last appearance on WWE television was when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time in 2019.
