Sami Zayn truly has what it takes to make the most of any bad situation in WWE. As such, he has earned the trust and respect of those in the company and his fans as well. Zayn has worked with numerous talent in the indies, and that includes Kenny Omega, with whom he wants to work with again.
Prior to signing with WWE back in 2013, Sami Zayn was known as El Generico in the independent circuit. He had a stellar run in Ring Of Honor and faced many top talent. He also squared off against Kenny Omega in the independent circuit.
While speaking on Peter Rosenberg’s Cheap Heat podcast, the Bloodline member talked about talent from other companies he would like to work with. Zayn also made it clear he would love to work with Kenny Omega again.
It’s guys that I’ve worked with before that I just miss and that I would love to work with again now like Kenny Omega just as an example. I’m listing a lot of AEW guys here, but you know I haven’t seen him in 10 years. That’s insane. The last time I saw him was in December of 2012 and, you know, I miss him and I miss working him. He was super easy to work — he was a lot like me actually, I thought, very detail-oriented.
Ric Flair isn’t a big fan of Sami Zayn’s current character. We will have to wait and see how WWE will be booking Sami Zayn as part of The Bloodline in the coming months. Fans certainly can’t get enough of him right now.
