WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is regarded as one of the most gifted in-ring athletes in the history of professional wrestling. His contributions to the business will never be forgotten. In fact, Kurt Angle wants his last match to be like Ric Flair’s was.
The WWE Hall of Famer has competed against the top stars in the business. Unfortunately, his body could no longer hold up after many years of wear and tear.
While speaking to Bill Apter, Kurt Angle talked about one final match. Angle revealed that he wants his final match to be like Ric Flair’s from earlier this year.
“I don’t think so. I had a knee replacement five months ago. I’m good. I think I’ve had a good enough career that I’m proud of. If it does come to be, then it will probably be a tag match like Ric Flair did so that I don’t get exposed. I hate to say it, but I don’t think I’m the same wrestler I used to be. But [if] I did decide to have a wrestling match, it would be against younger guys that could carry me. And I’d make sure that it was a tag match, so I was not exposed.”
Angle recently stated that he wants $10 million from WWE to wrestle another match, but it is doubtful WWE will pay him the money. We’ll have to see if he will have one last match or not.
