William Regal Believed To Be Leaving AEW

William Regal helped MJF win the AEW World Title at Full Gear, and then the Salt of the Earth turned on him this week for his troubles. There could be a big offer for Regal from WWE, and Tony Khan might have written William Regal off television with his shocking booking decision.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that William Regal could already be on his way out. At this point, AEW talent are under the belief that Regal is out of the company after this week’s episode of Dynamite.

Talent is of belief that William Regal’s AEW deal could be up in December of this year. This was also being speculated at this past weekend’s WrestleCade event.

This situation is still playing out, and there will be updates. Triple H taking over WWE’s creative control certainly could open up a big role for William Regal within the company.

We’ll have to see how this situation plays out, but there is some serious fire to the smoke behind William Regal’s situation with AEW.
