A lot went down on last night’s AEW Dynamite. Fans got to see the return of Adam Page, MJF reveal a new AEW World Championship Belt, and we even got to see Bow Wow make an appearance, although it was from a screen. But ROH Champion Chris Jericho was nowhere to be seen throughout the night.

The explanation for The Ocho’s absence on last night’s AEW Dynamite is that he is currently busy touring with his heavy metal band Fozzy in Australia. While AEW Dynamite was taking place in Indiana, Jericho was rocking it out in a sold-out show in Brisbane Australia.
The ROH champion has quite a relationship with music. Just earlier this month, he was recognized as The Bride on The Masked Singer.
Chris Jericho’s last match-up took place during the November 23rd edition of AEW Dynamite where he defeated two-time Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, six time NEVER Openweight Champion and former ROH TV Champion Tomohiro Ishii. That was quite a bloody match, so Jericho certainly deserves the time off.
Fozzy’s Australian tour will take Jericho to Melbourne on December 2nd; Sydney on December 3rd and Adelaide on December 4th. If the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla can come out of the tour without jetlag, chances are we could catch him on December 7th’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
