Daniel Garcia has enjoyed a great run with the ROH Pure Championship, currently at the 85th day of his title reign. He is set to break the 100th day mark, that is if he’s able to successfully defend it at a newly announced championship match at ROH Final Battle
On the November 30th edition of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Garcia would be putting his title on the line against none other than Wheeler Yuta at ROH Final Battle. This match will mark the third time fans have seen the two go at it for the ROH Pure Championship.
In their first bout for the ROH Pure Championship at Death Before Dishonor, Yuta successfully retained the title. He was not as lucky the second time around when Garcia snatched the title on the September 7th edition of AEW Dynamite in Buffalo, New York, Garcia’s hometown.
The two are pit together once again at ROH final battle for a rubber match. Whatever the outcome may be, it looks like their rivalry is going to go on for a long time. Being AEW’s two youngest stars, their rivalry is reminiscent to the one between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock back in the Attitude Era.
Ever since becoming ROH Pure Champion, Garcia has successfully defended the title two times. Let’s see if he’s able to do it once again at Final Battle. For more updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
