Randy Orton has accomplished a lot of things during his two-decade run with the WWE. The Apex Predator continued to reinvent himself over the years, but his body couldn’t take it anymore. In fact, even Teddy Long advised Orton to stay out of the ring.
Randy Orton has been out of action for a long time due to his back injury. He was written off WWE television after being attacked by The Usos. As previously reported, Orton underwent back fusion surgery.
While on One On One, Teddy Long talked about Randy Orton’s injury status. Long advised Orton to stay out of the ring and not come back for the sake of it, like what Kurt Angle and Edge did.
Well, the thing I would like to say about that is Randy Orton – great friend of mine.. I honestly just hope Randy makes the right decision, you know. There are people like Edge, Kurt Angle, who said they were not coming back once they found out they had injuries and the doctors told them it’d be dangerous for them to return to the ring. And they came right back anyway.
So, I just hope Randy does the right thing. If the doctors tell you to stay out of the ring, I suggest you stay out of the ring. Not to just deliberately hurt yourself. It’s still about the money, man.”
Randy Orton’s recovery is coming along after fusion back surgery. We will have to wait and see when The Viper will be making his return to WWE television as fans certainly miss him.
