Eric Young’s rise to prominence in Impact Wrestling is well documented. After several years as a comedic character, Eric Young evolved into a bona fide star for the company winning the company’s top prize in the process. Owing to Impact Wrestling’s financial struggles, Eric Young left the company in 2016 and went straight to the WWE.

During his run in NXT, Eric Young formed SAnitY along with Nikki Cross, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe. Young would even win the NXT Tag Team Titles along with Alexander Wolfe. However, things started falling apart after SAnitY moved to the main roster.

It was clear right from the start that Vince McMahon had no clue what to do with them. After floundering for years on the main roster, Eric Young was released from the company in April 2020.

Following his release from WWE, Eric Young rejoined Impact Wrestling, where he again won the brand’s top prize within just two months. However, it now appears that Young might be out of the company again. Eric Young’s final Impact Wrestling television appearance where he was stabbed by Deaner aired on tonight’s episode of Impact.
