Disco Inferno Doesn’t Think Dakota Kai Belongs On The WWE Main Roster

Dakota Kai was one of the highlights of NXT television because she consistently put on great matches during her time with the company. However, WWE released Dakota Kai from her NXT contract back in May. She came back a couple of months later, but Disco Inferno doesn’t seem to be a fan of Kai.

Dakota Kai came back during SummerSlam, where she returned as part of Damage CTRL alongside Bayley and Iyo Sky. Kai and Sky are currently the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions and are regularly featured on WWE television, but not everyone is a fan of the faction even now.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno talked about Dakota Kai’s run since her return. Inferno made it clear that he doesn’t think Kai belongs on the main roster.

“[Is Dakota Kai ready for the main roster?] Not really. I do believe that Damage CTRL is the most underwhelming group that gets more TV time that I’ve seen in recent memory.”

Dakota Kai was also in talks with other pro wrestling companies prior to her WWE return. Regardless of what anyone else thinks, Dakota Kai is here to say in WWE and that’s all she cares about right now. We’ll have to see how she will be booked in the coming weeks.
