WWE has a lot of decisions to make on the road to WrestleMania 39. April 1st and 2nd will see WWE bring the grandest stage of them all to SoFi Stadium, and fans are likely in store for a historic event. That being said, one rumored plan going around is not being considered.
Xero News tweeted out to discuss some “plans” that WWE is batting around for Roman Reigns. It was said that, “The Titles will be split by the end of the draft latest. (The draft will be after Mania) There is some talks however of Roman dropping both Belts at Mania on Night 1 Second on Night 2.”
Ringside News reached out to verify this report, because it would certainly be a bold booking decision for Roman Reigns. A tenured member of the WWE creative team, who is privy to such discussions, was quick to shoot down this “report.”
It’s obvious this person has no real source on the inside, because he is referring to discussions that have never taken place.
We were able to exclusively report that WWE is still considering the next date for their draft. There is no confirmation exactly when the next WWE Draft will go down.
Ringside News exclusively reported that The Rock is a virtual lock for WrestleMania 39. The Great One is very busy with his loaded schedule, but with the XFL opening next year, that could provide him some downtime to get back in the ring.
Only time will tell what WWE plans on doing as things heat up with WrestleMania season, but the company is not planning on Roman Reigns dropping his titles on each night of the show of shows.
