Participants Of Iron Survivor Challenge Revealed On WWE NXT

Triple H took WarGames to the main roster, and Shawn Michaels had to come up with a unique matchup for NXT’s December PLE slot. The Heartbreak Kid announced the Iron Survivor Challenge last week. Tonight, he finally revealed the participants of the revolutionary matchup.

Shawn Michaels made an appearance during NXT this week. Mr. WrestleMania was joined by fellow WWE Hall of Famers Road Dogg, X-Pac, Molly Holly, and Alundra Blayze as they revealed the participants of the women and men’s Iron Survivor Challenge for NXT Deadline.

Michaels explained his criteria for picking the participants of the matchup, noting that NXT superstars with a successful overall year will compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

The WWE Hall of Famer revealed Carmelo Hayes, JD McDonagh, Joe Gacy, and Grayson Waller will compete in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. The fifth and final participant will be determined in a wild card match next week.

Zoey Stark, Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez, and Kiana James will compete in Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge. A wild card match will be held next week on WWE NXT to determine the fifth and final participant.

NXT Deadline will feature separate Iron Survivor Challenge matchups for the men and women of the white and gold brand. The winner of the two contests will challenge for the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships at a future date. NXT Deadline takes place on December 10, 2022.
