WWE’s Kevin Owens storyline is moving forward. However, there has been some concern about his knee since a few weeks ago. Owens was sidelined due to a sprained MCL, which he sustained at a live event during a match with Austin Theory. He’s back, but the Prizefighter might be gutting through an injury to this day.

Kevin Owens did rehab on his knee at the Performance Center. Still, there was speculation within the company regarding whether Owens would be ready for the Survivor Series. There are long-term plans for The Bloodline, and certain things need to happen in the plot with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn that will play out in the coming months, so he needed to be healthy for the show on Saturday.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Owens’ knee held up, but he wasn’t sure by the end of the match against Jey Uso that he is still hurt. He explained how Kevin got through the match, as well as how he worked the house show on Sunday and the Raw last night. Dave also stated that Kevin is fit to work now, and it’s a good sign because there was some concern two weeks ago that he’d be out for a while.

He got through the match and he worked the house show [on Sunday] and he worked the Raw [last night]. He’s okay to work which is really good because two weeks ago, there was a lot of concern that he could be out for a while. Luckily, he dodged that bullet.
