Batista Honors Chadwick Boseman With Throwback Photo

Batista is perhaps one of the biggest WWE superstars in the history of the company. He rosed up to the ranks from being an enforcer to becoming a mainstream star. The Animal is currently one of the brightest stars in Hollywood. Recently, he decided to pay homage to fellow co-star and MCU’s Black Panther, the late Chadwick Boseman.

The Animal has achieved immense success in Hollywood, being a part of blockbuster movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Spectre. He has also been a part of several MCU movies.

Batista decided to pay tribute to fellow MCU actor Chadwick Boseman, who essayed the character of Black Panther before his untimely death in 2020 due to cancer. The MCU’s Drax the Destroyer posted a throwback photo on Instagram with Boseman to celebrate the release of the latest MCU film ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’

Batista made his WWE debut as an enforcer for Reverend D-Von in 2002. He later went under the tutelage of Triple H and Ric Flair as part of Evolution. After his split from the group, The Animal achieved singles success and become one of the top superstars alongside John Cena. Big Dave took his final bow from pro wrestling at WrestleMania 35, in a losing effort against Triple H, retiring from the squared circle on his own terms.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever emerged to be a huge success at the box office. Batista is all set to reprise his role as ‘Drax the Destroyer’ in the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy slated to release on May 5th 2023 next year in theaters.
