Lacey Evans made her return to WWE television earlier this year after a pregnancy hiatus. After her return with a marine gimmick, Evans was once again taken off WWE television. She came back recently and also explained how important it is to be ready to go when WWE calls.

Evans returned to Smackdown earlier this month and took part in the Six-Pack Challenge No. 1 Contender’s Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She didn’t win but that ended up changing something in her as she teased a change in gimmick.

While speaking on Brandi Rhodes’ 2 Lies and 1 truth podcast, Lacey Evans talked about how she is waiting for WWE to give her a call and explained the importance of always being ready for it.

Yeah, I hope so [Evans responded when Brandi said she hopes to see her soon]. I mean, some stuff may be in the works. I just gotta keep working hard and when they’re ready for me, I have to be ready so, you know how it is. I’m just waiting on that phone call. Good or bad, good or bad, it’s a phone call man. You just gotta be ready [Evans laughed].

We will have to wait and see whether Lacey Evans will end up getting a proper push in the coming weeks or not. Fans simply want to see her get something worthwhile for once.
