Kurt Angle Rips WWE For Making Braun Strowman Look Like An Idiot

Braun Strowman’s release from WWE earlier last year came as a shock to many, as he was a huge star by then. Prior to his release, Strowman was booked very strong and had feuds with several top stars. He was also part of the 2017 Survivor Series match with Triple H, but Kurt Angle wasn’t a fan of how Strowman was booked there.

During the 2017 edition of Survivor Series, Stephanie McMahon chose Kurt Angle as the team captain of RAW. Triple H decided to hit his teammate Angle with a Pedigree and did the same to Shane McMahon as well.

In the end, only Strowman and Triple H remained. Strowman then destroyed Triple H after team RAW won the Survivor Series match. While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle ripped WWE for making Strowman look like an idiot during that spot with Triple H and not booking a proper feud between the two.

“Screw me over; that made sense, but the thing with Braun Strowman just made him look like an idiot. I genuinely believe that if they simply would have had a program together, it would have been great, and I think that Triple H and Braun Strowman would have had some five-star matches.”

Braun Strowman recently suffered his first loss at the hands of Ricochet on Friday Night Smackdown this week. We will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for Strowman next.
