Roman Reigns has been on a history-making run in WWE as the Undisputed Universal Champion after he came back a couple of years ago. He has faced numerous foes over the years, and that includes Brock Lesnar. In fact, Reigns claimed that he and Lesnar push each other to be better in the ring.
The Tribal Chief’s greatest adversary in the past year is certainly Brock Lesnar, with whom he has feuded quite a few times in the last several years. Reigns defeated Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam to retain his titles as well.
While speaking with The Ringer, Roman Reigns talked about his feud with Brock Lesnar. Reigns claimed that he and Lesnar push each other to be better in the ring.
“That was just a perfect recipe of two performers who want to be the best, and both have pretty legitimate claims to that territory. And when you get two guys who compete, it’s not backstabbing. We’re looking each other in the eyes and we’re telling each other, ‘I’m better than you and if you don’t show me, then this is the end of the road for you.’ People probably said, ‘Oh God, not Brock-Roman again.’ And then we go out there and deliver a classic.”
Roman Reigns is also unlikely to drop his titles this year. We will have to wait and see whether WWE will have Lesnar and Reigns face each other again somewhere down the lines or not.
