Britt Baker Got Jamie Hayter Her Job In AEW

Britt Baker has worked very hard to improve herself and become one of the best female wrestlers in AEW. Due to her status in AEW, it is not hard to see she has some pull backstage in the company. In fact, Baker even got Jamie Hayter her job in AEW.

At AEW Full Gaer, Jamie Hayter squared off against Toni Storm for the AEW Interim Women’s World Championship. Against all odds, Hayter managed to beat Storm for the title.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Britt Baker talked about her love for Jamie Hayter. In fact, Baker revealed that she hand-picked Hayter for a job in AEW. She went on to give Hayter a ton of props.

“I’m so incredibly proud of Jamie. I mean, I literally hand-picked Jamie. I went to Tony Khan and said, ‘Hey, we need this girl,’ because I wrestled her in the UK in a dive bar years ago, and we’ve been friends ever since.”

“I am Jamie’s #1 fan. There’s nobody out there that wants Jamie to win this title more than I do because it is her time. This is Jamie Hayter’s era right now, and I get to be along for the ride.”

We will have to wait and see how Jamie Hayter will be booked as the Interim AEW Women’s Champion in the coming months. It is possible that Hayter will have Britt Baker to face down the line.
