Stone Cold Steve Austin has been looking to get back in shape in recent weeks. The Texas Rattlesnake decided to put his gym armor back and regain his incredible physique during his hey day. Austin is continuously updating the fans with his fitness regime on social media and this time he has got a response from his old rival, The Rock.
Stone Cold Steve Austin became a sensation during the famous Attitude Era in the 1990s. Austin reigned as the poster boy for Vince McMahon’s global juggernaut. The beer swirling, anti-hero gimmick of Austin 3:16 became a global phenomenon, however Stone Cold took early retirement in 2003 due to neck issues.
The Texas Rattlesnake resurfaced back to in-ring action earlier this year at WrestleMania 38 competing in his first match in 19 years. Austin defeated Kevin Owens in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania, displaying an excellent in-ring work ethic, proving that he still has got a lot left in the tank.
Stone Cold Steve Austin has been spending more time in the gym, working out and attaining great shape. While Austin claims that he began working out because of looking overweight and out of shape, many have speculated that the 6-time WWE champion might be training for another in-ring match. Nevertheless, Stone Cold’s training video caught the The Rock’s attention, who commented on Austin’s Instagram video to show his support to his Attitude Era counterpart.
“Maaaan for everyone watching this, let me just say that how Steve is talking here, is exactly how talks in person and why we became brothers,” Rock wrote. “Straight up, direct, no bulls–t. Good or bad. You’ll always get the real. Keep kicking ass my brother. And you know I gotta say it, ‘thank you for the house.'”
Stone Cold is rumored to make his comeback inside the squared circle once again at WrestleMania, with the WWE reportedly already offered the Texas Rattlesnake a deal for another marquee match at the Grandest Stage of Them All next year in Hollywood.
