Cody Rhodes is expected by many fans to return on time for the 2023 Royal Rumble match. If he comes back, it might be like Daniel Bryan in 2014, where supporters will not accept any other winner. Cody Rhodes’ wife, Brandi Rhodes, recently stated that he appears to be ready to return to the ring.

This week, former AEW/WWE talent Brandi Rhodes was interviewed on Steve Fall’s Ten Count. She was there to promote her podcast and to discuss her family and her future aspirations in and out of wrestling. She also discussed Cody Rhodes’ rehab.

Cody, according to Brandi, needs to wrestle again because it’s in his blood. She also provided an update on his health, which she said is now “really good.” Brandi also shared she accompanied Cody to the physical therapist and was impressed with how he now looks.

Brandi Rhodes also added that it appears that nothing ever happened to Cody. As we previously reported, Cody had to undergo surgery a few months ago to repair his torn pectoral. Brandi stated that his recovery is going well and that he appears to be ready to return to the ring.

He needs to wrestle. It’s in his blood. It’s part of his makeup. But now, he’s been great through all of this. All of the work that he’s been doing to get back has been really good. I went with him to his physical therapist yesterday to finally see because he’s been ragging on me the entire time, ‘You haven’t come, you haven’t come, you have to come.’ So I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m coming to see.’ I was really just impressed with how he looks now. He doesn’t look like anything happened which is crazy because he had major surgery. So he looks like the same Cody to me. The muscle mass is all there, you know, he looks ready to me, but I’m not a doctor.

As Brandi stated, all that is required now is the doctor’s approval, and Cody will be in the ring shortly. Let’s see when and how he returns. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Ringside News.
