Bobby Fish eventually made his way to AEW after he was let go by WWE as part of budget cuts last year. While he had a brief reunion as part of The Undisputed Era, he eventually left AEW. Fish has already made good on his promise to continue his pro wrestling career with style recently.

Following his AEW departure, Bobby Fish made his way to Impact Wrestling, where did not really get to do much. In the meantime, he even won his boxing debut match.

According to Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online, Bobby Fish returned to NJPW, where he ended up beating Kevin Blackwood on NJPW Strong: Domination. It seems that Fish has unfinished business in NJPW.

Following the conclusion of the match, Homicide attacked Fish and a feud between them started. This appearance marks Fish’s first appearance in NJPW since the joint NJPW and ROH shows back in 2017.
