AJ Styles has been considered one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and his peers alike. While he has won multiple titles all over the world and had a solid run in WWE, his most recent statistic in WWE is actually a shockingly bad one.
After appearing in the 2016 Royal Rumble, AJ Styles competed in several high-profile feuds against stars such as Randy Orton, John Cena and many others. His journey to WWE was certainly a long and arduous one.
According to Profightdb, AJ Styles actually hadn’t won a single match at a Premium Live Event in three years. While speaking on Writing with Russo, Vince Russo talked about AJ Styles’ statistics and made it clear he was shocked by this.
“Somebody put up a graphic today… It was like AJ hadn’t won a pay-per-view match in three years or something.
They’re obviously going with Judgment Day. But, however, bro, if AJ has not won a singles match that long on a pay-per-view, this is the chance to give him a win because he’s beating Finn in a singles match so Judgment Day really isn’t getting beat. So if it were me because I did not realize bro, he’s gone that long, you gotta give AJ a win at some point bro.”
Styes’ last win on a Premium Live event was at WWE Crown Jewel in 2019. AJ Styles will be squaring off against Finn Balor at Survivor Series on November 26th. We’ll have to wait and see whether Styles will win the match or not.
