Tony Khan Says CM Punk Never Asked Him To Move Colt Cabana To ROH

CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks during the AEW All Out press conference. He eviscerated Colt Cabana and questioned his manhood, as Punk was clearly very bitter about Cabana. Fans wondered if Punk ever wanted Cabana moved to ROH and Khan finally addressed it.

CM Punk has not been seen on AEW television since All Out. However, Colt Cabana’s status in AEW became a topic of discussion due to the animosity between himself and Punk.

While speaking during the post-AEW Full Gear press conference, AEW President Tony Khan was asked if CM Punk ever asked to have Colt Cabana move to ROH or not share the locker room with him. Khan vehemently denied that notion.

No, he [CM Punk] never asked for that. The first time it came up, you asked me this on a scrum call before Death Before Dishonor. I could have addressed it then but didn’t comment on it as I wanted to talk about wrestling on the show because Colt Cabana was on the show.

CM Punk was also called out for being obsessed with Colt Cabana. Colt Cabana’s surprise AEW Dynamite appearance also became a huge talking point for good reason. Regardless, we’ll have to see what will become of CM Punk in the end.
