Chris Hemsworth is one of the biggest box office attractions in Hollywood. He is most notable for playing the role of the mystic god of thunder, Thor in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Hemsworth was next slated to star in Hulk Hogan’s biopic, however he revealed in a recent interview that it might not be happening.
Hulk Hogan was the biggest star in the golden era of wrestling and the top marquee attraction for Vince McMahon’s WWE. His American Hero gimmick became a rage during the late 1980s and early 1990s with Hulkamania running wild all over the wrestling world. Till this day, fans get excited at the sight of Hulk Hogan whenever the WWE Hall of Famer makes sporadic appearances on WWE television programming.
The 6-time WWE Champion revealed earlier that his biopic was being made in a Netflix movie with legendary actor Chris Hemsworth signed on to play The Hulkster. The movie was speculated to be in the works for a long time, but it looks like now the project could be in jeopardy.
The Thor actor revealed in a Vanity Fair interview that he would taking an extended hiatus, further revealing on his National Geographic series Limitless that he is 8-10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s.
“Yeah, it’s like one in a thousand people…or one in 10,000. I can’t remember. But eight to 10 times more likely. Since you told me that, I feel like my memory’s getting worse. It’s a placebo effect—or it’s taking place!”
Chris Hemsworth also stated that he would finish the projects he is contracted to and then go on hiatus. Hemsworth appeared in the highly successful movie earlier this year produced by Marvel Studios, Thor: Love and Thunder, that emerged as a huge blockbuster on the box office.
