The Marvel Cinematic Universe is attractive for a variety of people, and Bianca Belair is the latest WWE superstar to show her interest in their growing character list. She plans to play Storm in the MCU, and some might say she’d be a perfect fit.
During a new interview with Comic Book, Bianca Belair was questioned about the possibility of portraying Storm, the famous weather-manipulating X-Men character, in the MCU after expressing interest in the role in 2020.
Oh 100%. I would love to crossover into the movie scene and play Storm and just play such a strong and amazing character. I hope Hollywood is ready for a strong, powerful, muscular woman to come on the scene and if they are, that’s me. I’m ready, I’m just waiting on a phone call.
In today’s box office scene, comic book movies are frequently the golden goose, since many of the films produced by both Marvel and DC generate a lot of money. It’s a driving force for anyone, and the EST of WWE could add a lot of star appeal.
Many notable people from all over the world have shown interest in appearing in either the MCU or the DCEU, including wrestlers like Liv Morgan and Wardlow. There’s no official word if that will become a reality.
Although the X-Men have yet to be brought to the MCU, there have been several signs in recent Marvel films and television series that they will be included shortly. Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp both played Storm in the Fox X-Men Universe at one point or another, and Bianca Belair could fill the role perfectly.
What do think of this possibility? Sound off in the comments.
