Abadon had all the possibilities of becoming a major force for All Elite Wrestling’s women’s division. The dynamic superstar has been turning heads with her performances on AEW television programming, but suffered an injury during a recent independent wrestling show. Now, she has provided an update on the situation.

Abadon signed a contract with AEW back in June 2020. She has been featured on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation in recent memory. Abadon’s last outing on their signature show, AEW Dynamite, came on January 2021 in a losing effort to then-AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. She recently sent out a message that she is taking even more indie bookings, leading some to believe her status with AEW changed.

The 30-year AEW superstar was a part of a wrestling match against Joey Ace at a Warriors of Wrestling show in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday. It was then when she reportedly suffered an injury while attempting to connect with a hurricanrana and landed badly. The match was immediately stopped and Abadon was taken to the hospital.

According to reports, Abadon likely suffered a broken collarbone. Now, the AEW star has updated the fans on Twitter, calling her injury a minor speed bump, stating that she has a lot left in the tank and one day she will be undeniable while thanking the fans for their support.

“It’s just a little bump in the road. I have a lot to offer, you may not think so, but I do. We’re only 4 years in with so many to give. One day I’ll be undeniable. Your love and support has been overwhelming in the best way. Thank you.”

The severity of Abadon’s injury is unknown, and there is no timetable for her return at the moment. However, her positive outlook and the support from fans will likely make her rehab process easy, and it will hopefully be no time until we see Abadon back inside the squared circle.
