Earl Hebner was involved in a number of noteworthy events in WWE history. When it was discovered that he was involved in the selling of some bootleg merchandise, his departure from the company was fairly abrupt. However, Hebner still thinks that he deserves to be in the company’s Hall of Fame.

This week, Brian Hebner invited his father and legendary referee of all time on his podcast. When asked if he felt deserving of being honored into the WWE Hall of Fame, Earl responded that he did.

“Yea, I would consider it. All the stuff that I’ve done in this business and made a lot of the matches what they are. I think I deserve to be in there. But whether I do or not, it’s up to them.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Earl also talked about working with Dusty Rhodes at Jim Crockett Promotions and what being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame meant to him. You can listen to the entire podcast below.
