WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin is regarded as one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He single-handedly brought in The Attitude Era and remains one of the most influential pro wrestlers of all time. In fact, there are already discussions for him to compete again.
As previously reported, WWE also believes that Steve Austin will compete again. In fact, WWE has already offered Steve Austin a match.
According to Dave Meltzer in his daily update, “there is smoke to that fire” and there are discussions happening. However, no further details regarding any pitches were disclosed. It was previously reported that WWE offered another match to Austin, but it wasn’t clear exactly which event that was for.
Meltzer added that Austin remains in great shape, as was also the case for him at WrestleMania 38. Austin didn’t have to take many bumps at all at WrestleMania 38, so only time will tell what he agrees to next time.
The idea of who Austin might face is also a very interesting topic of conversation. CM Punk is an obvious name, but John Cena is also someone who would draw an incredible box office with the Texas Rattlesnake.
