Stephen Amell Wants To Work With WWE Or AEW To Promote ‘Heels’ Season 2

Stephen Amell, who played Oliver Queen on “Arrow,” has worked a couple of wrestling matches throughout his career. He most notably appeared at WWE SummerSlam 2015 and AEW All In. Amell now aspires to make a comeback in wrestling where he can plug his most recent project.

Amell discussed his in-ring return at Popcon. He hopes to get back in the ring before “Heels” season two debuts on Starz. Amell also said that he would like to wrestle Cody Rhodes, AJ Styles and Darby Allin.

I think what I’m going to try to do is…I’m going to try to do something with WWE or AEW around the launch of the second season. We’ll see. Whatever that is.

Cody Rhodes. AJ Styles, that could be good. Darby Allin, I like Darby Allin a lot.

Season two of “Heels” has not yet set a premiere date. Amell provided more information about a potential wrestling comeback during a Popcon Q&A stating that if he did, he would want to be a villain to continue promoting “Heels.”

There are rumors that Jordynne Grace, Serena Deeb, and other actors have already shot scenes for “Heels” season two. CM Punk was also part of season one. You can watch the full interview below.
