Vince McMahon made headlines back in June after it came to light that he secretly paid $3 million as a hush money deal to a departing paralegal. McMahon was under investigation after this, and he was forced to retire in the end. While many people were shocked by these allegations, Ken Shamrock was not one of them.
It was eventually revealed that McMahon paid $12 million in hush money to several women over the two decades. That was the last straw for McMahon, as his career in WWE was basically over at this point. In fact, an additional $5 million dollars of unrecorded expenses were linked to Vince McMahon as well.
While speaking with VLAD TV, former WWE Superstar Ken Shamrock was asked about Vince McMahon’s hush money scandal. Shamrock made it clear it didn’t surprise him one bit.
“Anytime that you have that much power, I think you’re going to see things like that happen and people take advantage of their power. It hasn’t been a secret. I mean there’s always been allegations and I don’t think anybody really truly believes they weren’t true. I think they just believe that they, like we know now, they were just paid off or, you know, hush money. So, this is no shock. I mean like we live in this world and it happens all the time.”
Vince McMahon also agreed to pay the cost of the investigation. McMahon is enjoying his life after retirement and fans couldn’t be happier that he is gone from WWE for good.
