Saraya Believed She Could Wrestle A ‘Stone Cold Match’ After Steve Austin’s WrestleMania Return

Saraya shocked the wrestling community when she debuted on AEW Dynamite; GrandSlam and confronted Britt Baker. This past week on Dynamite, she announced that she will make her in-ring return against Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear. Saraya also revealed what inspired her to get her neck re-evaluated.

Saraya made a recent appearance on The Sessions with Renee Paquette where she discussed her return to wrestling. She revealed that watching Stone Cold Steve Austin return to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania inspired her to get her neck re-assessed. She also mentioned that she could work a ‘Stone Cold’ match without taking a crazy amount of bumps.

“Stone Cold had that match with Kevin Owens but he didn’t bump that much. It was very limited but he still had an amazing match and that was inspiring to me. I probably could pull off doing a Stone Cold match, right? And it was just in my head … There wasn’t a crazy amount of bumps because the story that they told was so fantastic. Maybe we can do something like that.”

Stone Cold Steve Austin returned at WrestleMania 38 to face Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred Match. This first match that Steve Austin had since his retirement. Despite the match being No Holds Barred, Steve Austin emerged victorious without partaking in any dangerous spots.
