WWE Setting Up Real-Life Romantic Storyline On SmackDown

Vince McMahon used to incorporate real-life romance between WWE stars into television storyline all the time during his time as as the promotion’s head booker. Tonight, Triple H took a page out of his father-in-law’s infamous playbook.

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown featured a backstage segment between Emma and Shotzi Blackheart. Emma congratulated Shotzi on winning the six-pack challenge for a future shot at Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Shotzi responded by saying that Emma took The Baddest Woman on the Planet to the limit during her return match on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago. Emma asked Shotzi whether she had seen Madcap Moss, to which she replied in negative.

Shotzi teased Emma with Madcap reference. The challenger then confronted Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey, only to get the life choked out of her by the Queen of Spades.

For those not in the know, Emma is in a relationship with Madcap Moss. The two went public with their relationship in August 2022. We’ll have to wait to see what Triple H has in store for the real-life couple.
