Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were suspended over their involvement in the brawl after AEW All Out. As previously reported, they were backstage during AEW Dynamite last month and had a good time. The Elite are now probably filming for AEW reality television show while awaiting television return.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed The Elite’s absence from television on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He noted that AEW is filming the reality show each week, starting with the November 2nd show in Baltimore. Meltzer revealed that the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are also part of the show.
They are now filming the AEW reality show each week, starting with the 11/2 show in Baltimore. I believe the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are part of the show, which may be why they have been in even though not appearing on the television show. At least when the show was conceived, they were a part of it. If they had start filming three months ago, boy would that have ended up awkward with all the backstage stuff. Then again, they were already filming a second season of Rhodes to the Top that would have already aired, and they lost out on that exposure.
AEW teased The Elite’s return with a series of vignettes over the past few weeks. On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the company teased that the Elite will return at AEW Full Gear.
The Young Bucks are truly second to none when it comes to the business side of the industry. They made the most out of many incidents over the years. We will have to wait and see whether The Elite will become the new Trios Tag Team Champions at AEW Full Gear, should they receive a title shot on November 19th. Stay tuned to Ringside News for the latest updates.
