Logan Paul shocked fans after his match with The Miz at SummerSlam, where The Maverick made it evident that he is a legitimate pro wrestler. His momentum carried over to his feud with Roman Reigns as well. In fact, Paul did a crazy number of searches before Crown Jewel.
The Maverick was booked against The Tribal Chief in the main event of WWE Crown Jewel. The match was better than anyone could have imagined, but Paul lost in the end.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were 200,000 searches for Logan Paul ahead of the event.
“Google searches echoed that as 300,000 would have been the highest, and 200,000 of those were for Paul so he was clearly the key to swelling of the numbers and with while maybe the gig is up with the brothers as far as expensive PPV shows, the concept of Logan going for the title in a low-cost show was a big success.”
As previously reported, Logan Paul could be on the shelf for 6 to 8 months because of his injuries. He has also started rehabbing for his injury. Fans will certainly be glad to see him back next year. Hopefully, he gets back to action very soon, because he is now officially part of the WWE locker room.
