The WWE Performance Center was founded in 2013 with the goal of cultivating the next generation of WWE superstars. Over the past several years, the Performance Center would train some of the company’s top stars. Superstars like Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, and Bianca Belair all came through the Performance Center. Now, it’s time to introduce a new class.
Every few months, WWE signs new talent to train at the Performance Center based on their tryouts. College Athletes who excelled at various sports all try out at the Performance Center for the chance to become a WWE Superstar.
WWE recently announced its latest class of Performance Center recruits. Some of the notable names include Alivia Ash (2020 ACC High Jump Champion), Harleigh White (2022 Outdoor ACC Triple Jump Champion), Rickssen Opont (Haitian National Shotput Record Holder who can squat 900 lbs), Lea Mitchell (3xTime MVP Gymnast), and Anna Keefer (5xNCAA All-American).
Although these athletes will start training at the WWE Performance Center, there is no guarantee we will get to see them on WWE programming. Only time will tell if the next NXT Champion is amongst them.
