Bobby Roode has had a very inconsistent timeline on WWE television since his main roster call-up. While he returned to in-ring action in WWE after almost a two-month absence, he was again sidelined. Roode is anticipated to make a comeback for WWE soon and might even switch brands.
As previously reported, Roode uploaded a picture of Southlake Orthopaedics in Birmingham, Alabama on Instagram towards the end of September, noting that he was suffering with injuries. Roode was on his way home following what he believed would be a productive visit to the institution.
Roode also expressed gratitude to Andrew Sports Medicine in Southlake, Texas, which frequently treats injured WWE Superstars. He posted a second photo with the caption that he had surgery, but he didn’t explain why he was going to the doctor or why he had been out of the ring.
According to a new report from PW Insider, Roode was spotted in Birmingham on Wednesday. WWE officials are hopeful that Roode will recover from his injury problems shortly. As of this writing, Roode is still labeled as a RAW Superstar, but when he returns, there has been talk of having him work SmackDown.
There is still no clear explanation for why Robert Roode was sidelined. Roode hasn’t engaged in any in-ring wrestling action since losing to Omos at the June 25 WWE live event from Amarillo, Texas. In addition to losing to WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker on the March 22 NXT show, Roode’s most recent television encounter was the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 1st SmackDown.
Roode posted yesterday on Instagram to congratulate his son, Nick Roode, on getting into the University of Michigan. He tagged the image as coming from the college-preparatory boarding school Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana. According to Nick’s Instagram, he will graduate from Culver High School in the Class of 2023 and then move to Michigan to play lacrosse. You may check out the related Instagram posts below.
