John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG Era. Cena eventually became a part-timer due to his Hollywood obligations as well. During the early stages of his WWE, he always had constant food poisoning, and there seems to be a good reason for that.

Former WWE Superstar Renee Dupree shared the WWE locker room with John Cena for the next four years until he was eventually done with the company back in 2007.

While speaking on his Cafe de Rene podcast, Renee Dupree revealed that John Cena often suffered from food poisoning on tours in the mid-2000s. That didn’t stop him from bringing everything he had.

“A guy that got food poisoning a lot was John Cena. The fact that he always ate so clean that anytime he’d have like some sort of undercooked meat or some type of weird spice he would get like violently ill, like food poisoning.”
