JBL is a veteran in the pro wrestling world and began his career as Bradshaw back in the late 90s. He eventually became one of the biggest heels in WWE and developed a reputation for being a bully. He even had to respond to fans who believe Kenny Omega is the only wrestling god.

Layfield first referenced himself as a ‘wrestling god’ in 2004 while he was the leader of The Cabinet faction. During his time with the stable, JBL won his first WWE Championship at the Great American Bash against Eddie Guerrero.

For the past few years, Kenny Omega has been called the God Of Pro Wrestling as well. JBL took to Twitter and responded to a fan who stated that Kenny Omega is the only wrestling god.

Hard to steal my own name. Realized I was a Wrestling God in a backstage segment with the Cabinet almost 20 years ago.

JBL was also under fire by Ric Flair. JBL is busy managing Baron Corbin right now and that’s all that matters to him.
