Candice LeRae Says Becky Lynch Set The Bar High For WWE Return After Pregnancy

Candice LeRae stepped away from the ring in August 2021 after announcing her pregnancy with her husband Johnny Gargano. The former NXT star would then give birth to their son Quill in February 2022. In just a few months after her pregnancy, LeRae shocked the world by making her RAW debut.

During a recent episode of Ringside podcast, Candice LeRae had high praise for Becky Lynch. She discussed how Becky Lynch has set a high bar and showed that it was possible to come back better than ever after a pregnancy.

“The women who have done this before me gave me the little bit of courage to comeback. I didn’t know if this was something that was going to be possible. Becky Lynch kind of set a bar really high for us moms coming back because she came back better than ever. Her doing that had me stop and go, ‘Wow, this is really possible. It’s doable and possible. She did it and look at her.’ She came back better than ever. ‘We can do this.’ It’s really awesome. Timing is everything and the timing has been absolutely perfect,” LeRae said.

Since her return, Candice LeRae hasn’t been involved in any prominent storylines. This could be WWE’s way of easing her into the main roster. She recently teamed with Bianca Belair against Damage CTRL in a losing effort. It will be interesting to see how she will be used on the main roster.
