Bianca Belair began her WWE career as a participant in the Mae Young Classic competition before becoming a huge star in NXT. At the WWE Crown Jewel premium live event from Saudi Arabia on Saturday, the WWE Raw Women’s Champion faced Bayley in a Last Woman Standing Match and put her championship on the line. They also made history in the process.

During their match-up at Crown Jewel, Belair caught Bayley’s leg in a ladder during the final seconds of the fight, preventing Bayley from standing up, taking the victory in the process. In a ladder match at Extreme Rules, Belair prevailed in her first encounter to keep her title. Last week on WWE Raw, Bayley defeated Belair in a non-title match after interference from Nikki Cross.
Belair and Bayley are the first in WWE history to compete against one another in 1-on-1 Ladder, Hell in a Cell, and last-person-standing matches. Belair also made history in Saudi Arabia by being the first woman to take part in three different matches. The two also competed in the first-ever women’s gimmick match in Saudi Arabia.
Belair also had her own unique ring gear for the event that she made herself. Belair took to her Instagram stories and revealed that she actually made the ring gear all by herself while travelling on the road. She participated in a triple threat match at Crown Jewel last year and won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match this past February to earn a title match at WrestleMania 38.
Every time Bianca Belair defends her title, her star power grows even more. Who will ultimately challenge her next remains to be seen. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
