Bret Hart is certainly one of the best technical pro wrestlers the pro wrestling industry has ever seen. Bret has squared off the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer.

On the other hand, Bret can also be a very controversial wrestler whom many fans would describe as “too bitter.” In fact, he held a grudge against Jim Ross for several years after the infamous Montreal Screwjob match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels went down at Survivor Series 1997.

While speaking on his Grillin JR podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross touched base on the his relationship with Bret. Jim mentioned that Bret Hart didn’t speak to him for many years after the incident.

We went for years [and] never spoke because he didn’t believe I was not a party to it. The truth was, I was not a party to it. The truth was, I didn’t even know the f***ing finish.

Things are clearly better between the two now. Bret Hart will forever be remembered for his contributions to the pro wrestling industry and that’s all that matters.
