WWE will present their Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia this weekend. Fans are certainly excited about the event, as their previous events all turned out to be much better than expected. A major threat to Saudi Arabia put Crown Jewel’s status in doubt, but it seems the show must go on.
As previously reported, Saudi Arabia received a word of warning from the U.S. to an “imminent attack” from Iran. The country is on high alert due to the supposed imminent threat.
According to a report by PW Insider, the company still plans on going ahead with their next premium live event. It was further reported that the necessary security protocols and emergency contingencies have been put in place in anticipation of any major issues.
Obviously, WWE is promoting Crown Jewel in Riyadh this Saturday. In speaking to several at WWE, we are told that the show is set to still go forward and that the company already has security protocols and emergency contingencies in place for any issues. They are hopeful all will be fine.
High-ranking officials are hopeful that “all will be fine” in Riyadh on the day of Crown Jewel. WWE has been monitoring the situation since yesterday, so it comes as no surprise they finally decided to go through with the event.
The WWE Crown Jewel show is a loaded event, with Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul headlining the card. We will have to wait and see how Crown Jewel turns out, as fans can’t wait for the event. We only hope that everything goes well, and according to plan for everyone involved.
